World Hydrography Day 2015

Coastal Hydrographic attended the World Hydrography Day event in Adelaide on Friday 19 June.  It was a motivating day, with presentations give about all facets of hydrography.

 

It was great to catch up with familiar faces, and meet new people alike, to discuss potential and future developments for the industry.

Graduation Ceremony

Nigel Graduation3Congratulations to Nigel Townsend on the completion of his Masters of Business Administration.  Nigel attended his graduation at the University of Adelaide yesterday to accept his parchment.

Japan data collection complete

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERACoastal Hydrographic has returned to Australia after the successful completion of data collection and field processing in Japan.  We have built on to our existing knowledge of coastal estuaries and river mapping, and further developed our procedures and processes.

We have had a fruitful and enjoyable time in Japan, and look forward to seeing our friends there again soon.

 

 

New Processing Capability

Coastal Hydrographic is pleased to announce it now has additional processing capabilities! 

In addition to our existing office processing capability, we now have a stand alone field LiDAR processing capabiltity, including Terrascan/MicroStation software.

We hope to put the field system though its paces shortly.

 

European LiDAR Mapping Forum Experience

Coastal Hydrographic has attended the ELMF 2014 conference, and it has been a rewarding experience!

The presentations given were all of high quality, and it was thought-provoking to see the new ideas and directions of related disciplines.

On the second night of the forum, we attended the conference dinner at the amazing NEMO science centre.  It was a night of interesting discussions and great company.

We have met many new people, and it is fantastic to see the advancements of other areas of the industry.
